people. )

was a descendent, on his father’s side, of Hazrat Syedna Ghaus- e- Azam Shaikh ‘Abdul Qadir Jilani in the 9th generation, and of the Holy Prophet of Islam through Syedna Hasan ibn ‘Ali in the 20th generation.

writer of dobhasi (literature in mixed languages)puthi,
was born at Hafizpur, Munshir hat in Howrah , West Bengal
, He wrote Five books which have so far been discovered:
Yusuf Zolaikha, Sonabhan,
JANGANAMA (Accounts of war), Satyapirer Katha(The stories of Satyapir)
and AMIR HAMZA (Part I).
Poets who composed between 1600 and 1757 include nawajis
khan , Qamar Ali, Mangal (Chand), Abdul Nabi, Muhammad Fasih, Fakir Garibullah, Muhammad Yakub, Sheikh Mansur,
Muhammad Uzir Ali, Sheikh Sadi and Heyat Mamud. Syed Sultan's Nabibamsa ,
Muhammad Khan's Maktul Husein and sheikh chand 's Rasulbijay are known as
Islamic Puranas.
Puthi, Pandulipi, Dobhasi Literature this
all are related to Deoanji RA‘s book. Puthi Literature a special genre of
literature written in a mixed vocabulary drawn from Bangla, Arabic, Urdu,
Persian and Hindi. It was current during the 18th and the 19th centuries and
its composers as well as readers were Muslims. The word puthi (or punthi) is
derived from pustika or book. However, only a particular type of writing dating
from the 18th-19th centuries is known as PUTHI.
Nowadays all manuscripts are called Pandulipi in Bangla.
